2026 RBL Series 1

2026 RBL Opening Day!!! - Idaho @ Louisiana

Idaho comes into Louisiana to start the 2026 RBL season and leave sweeping the home team in three games.  The key piece was the Potatoes starting pitching.  Their three starters (Sonny Gray, Mitch Keller, and Ryan Pepiot) combined for an ERA of 0.78.  Incredibly hard to mount sny kind of rally inning against those kinds of numbers.  Ryan Pepiot was named series MVP.  He went 8 innings pitched, and only allowed two hit and no earned runs.  He struck out seven while only walking two. 

Louisiana also added injury to insult as both Jazz Chisholm and Alex Bregman sustain injuries and will be sitting out for a period of time.
