Strong defensive play was the storyline tonight. The Norrth Stars helps the Puck Muckers to only 26 shots on goal. Minnesota even scored on the shorthand to further demoralize the home crowd. Kyle Connor was the first star tonight. He scored that short handed goal, and also assisted on the other goal. Minnesota wins Game Three by a score of 2-1. They are up 3-0 and go for the sweep in Oregon in Game Four.
Oregon did take an early lead on Tommy Novak’s first period goal. However, that lead was short lived when Minnesota came right back while a man down.
