2025 RBA Playoffs Game 9

2025 RBA Playoffs Game 9

Wemby and Porzingis are just too much.  Nevada wins and books their ticket to the RBA Finals

Victor Wembanyama could not be stopped.  He scores 32 on 15 of 24 shooting.  His backup, Kristaps Porzingis, pitched in for 23 points in just 20 minutes of play.  Texas had absolutely no answers for Nevada’s inside game.  Nevada wins by a score of 119 to 110.  Wemby was the unanimous MVP of the series.  He averaged 36.8 PPG over the series.  They win the series 3-2, and have booked a date with Luthadel for the right to hoist the RBA Champions Trophy.

For the Longhorns, the just could not keep up, especially with the mounting injuries.  They were led tonight by SGA who slashed 26/5/8, and R.J. Barrett who slashed 24/13/5.  They go into the off-season thinking ‘What if?’ regarding what could have changed if they had the full roster at their disposal.
