Jalen Williams stands tall as the Wemby-less Gamblers take Game Three, 120 to 100
Jalen Williams was able to rise to the challenge. With Wembanyama out of the lineup for ‘Load Management’ (yes, we have that here in the RSU, lol), Williams took up the mantle of ‘the guy’. He goes off for 46 points on 20 of 33 shooting. He also had seven revbounds and seven assists. Gamblers backup center, Kristaps Porzingis, filled in admirably. He scored 20 points before fouling out in the fourth quarter. Nevada is now one win away from the RBA Finals.
For the Longhorns, they were led, again, by Shai Gilgeous-Alexander. He went for 21/6/7. Jamal Murray also pitched in with 21 points. However adding injury to insult, Longhorns players Duren and Brooks both went down with injury, and will be out at least the duration of this series.
